Ezine marketing is an effective way to promote your business yet many business owners pass up this opportunity because they find the idea of creating on-going content a bit daunting. If you follow these three simple methods, ezine marketing will become a regular tool you use to promote your business. Here are three ways to find email marketing content: 1. Write Your Own: Don’t overlook this option even if you think you are “not a writer.” If you are looking to produce unique ezine marketing content, writing it yourself is the best way to accomplish this. If you are struggling for topics, simply find a problem within your niche and break the solution into steps. Viewers are always looking to solve problems and creating a step-by-step guide will be sure to have their attention. Your title should mention what problem you will be solving to grab their attention. For example: “Three Easy Steps to Remove Carpet Stains” “A DIY Guide to Hanging Doors” See how these titles instantly allow the viewer to understand what problem you will be solving? Not only will they find the article useful, but also it will build your reputation as an expert in your niche. Simply write a few sentences for each step. It does not have to be overly long or difficult. If write about a topic you know and make sure to proof read it, you can create your own unique ezine marketing articles. 2. Search Article Directories for Content: If you do not have time or the desire to write your own ezine marketing content, or are looking for additional points of view within your campaign, article directories contain an endless supply of material free for you to publish. Locate an article directory by searching for the keyword “article directory” in a search engine. Once you have found a directory that you like, simply search for your chosen category and browse the articles available for reprint. Copy the article from the directory and run it in your ezine. The most important aspect of using articles from other authors is to properly credit them for their work. Articles will contain a resource box at the end that contains a short biography and a link to their website. Make sure their resource link is active and displayed properly. The content they provide is free in return for the resource box being a functioning part of the article. This is their way to utilize ezine marketing to their advantage by gaining traffic to their website and building their creditability. 3. Accept Article Submission: Many authors will be willing to submit article to directly to your ezine if you request article submissions. They will send you their content to run for free in your ezine in return for the resource signature at the end being present and active. In order to accept submissions, be sure to provide clear instructions on how you want the articles sent to you. Two common methods are to have the authors email the article to you directly or to point them to a web page on your site that you set up to accept articles. The easiest method is to have them emailed but make sure you specify that you need them formatted to no more than 65 characters wide to ensure that you do not spend a large amount of time fitting their article into your format. With these three simple methods your email marketing campaign can have a never-ending supply of articles to keep your readers engaged. Determine which strategies work for you, or put all three to the test to keep your content fresh. Either way, your ezine will become an essential tool for promoting your business. ©2009 Ezine Advertising Team, All Rights Reserved.
